The Chrysler 300 has had about a decade’s worth of tweaks and updates from its original version, giving us the perfection we observe today. For those in the market for a full-sized sedan who feel like their options are dwindling, the 2023 Chrysler 300 is the knight in shining armor you’ve been waiting to sweep you off your feet.

The Power Behind the Ride

The 300 is powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 DOHC engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The sedan boasts 292 horsepower and 260 pound-per-feet of torque, making it a competitor even for vehicles outside its own class. The multilink rear suspension is paired with a short and long-arm double-wishbone front suspension for superior control and handling.

Interior

As one of the few truly full-sized sedans, the Chrysler 300 can seat five people comfortably with plenty of legroom and cargo space. All the seats and headliners are trimmed with soft cloth, the floor mats are carpeted, and the door inserts are trimmed with vinyl. Although the cargo area already has more than 16 cubic feet of space, the rear seat is a connected bench that can be folded flat for even more storage space.

Cabin Technology

The steering wheel houses volume and cruise control settings for ease of use, and the cabin’s audio settings are also voice-activated. All passengers inside the cabin will be surrounded by six top-quality speakers, and the Chrysler 300 has speed-sensitive volume settings so that the music turns down when you slow to a stop.

Driver Safety

The 300 has seat-mounted side impact airbags in addition to front impact, and both rows of seats have overhead curtain airbags. The four-wheel antilock brake system features an additional Brake Assist program that has the ability to help you hard brake if a situation arises that could become a potential collision. The 300 has an additional driveline traction control system that works alongside the antilock brakes, and both of these systems are supplemented by the anti-roll electronic stability control program.

The onboard blind spot warning system employs sensors that keep a watchful eye on the road near your blind spots. These sensors will warn you if there is an object in either of your blind spots while you’re trying to change lanes, so you can make your maneuvers safely.
